Description
The course I have developed will teach you colloquial Egyptian Arabic (also known as Masry) from scratch. No prior knowledge is needed. I will use and teach you the Franco-Arabic method for writing Arabic words in Latin rather than Arabic script. This is a very popular system these days, including in Arabic countries.
I love this writing method, and many Egyptians use it to communicate with each other on WhatsApp and social media platforms such as Facebook.
In the following tutorials, I will take you through a simple step-by-step process designed to teach you the vocabulary and grammatical rules you will need to learn how to speak Egyptian Arabic.The first part of the course focuses on the most important aspects of any language: grammar and vocabulary, and how to properly construct sentences with the words you know.
The second section of the course focuses entirely on the development of speaking skills. It is designed to help you learn and use common sentences and expressions which Egyptians use most frequently in different types of situations.
