I’m the author of a best-selling AutoCAD book by Packt. I’m also a certified Autodesk AutoCAD professional and a member of the Autodesk expert elite group. As a designer and trainer, I have worked in both fields. I have worked with clients from both corporations and universities.

What’s in this class?

You start this course with no knowledge of AutoCAD at all, and it will teach you everything you need to know in a step-by-step way.

During the course, you’ll work on a project, and the videos show you how to use the tools and commands you’ll learn in real life. The main parts of the course are three:

1 is made up of videos that show how to use tools and commands in the real world.
2 has practice exercises for modules with video explanations of how to answer them.
3 is a set of multiple-choice quizzes with answers to see how well you did in class.

At the end of this class, what you can expect.

This course will teach you how to make your own drawings with simple and advanced tools from AutoCAD, like polylines, arcs, and circles. You will also be able to fully dimension them and make them look like they should. People who go to this class will be able to use drawing management tools like layers, as well as tools like the block library and references from other places.

Finally, you can change and print existing drawings with your own settings. When you finish this class, you will be able to use AutoCAD inside and out.
