What you’ll learn

Learn Kubernetes Step By Step: Theory and Practice

  • In this lesson, you’ll learn about Cloud Computing.
  • Make sure you know how Kubernetes works and what it needs to work well.
  • To build a Kubernetes cluster, you will learn how to do that in this class.
  • Take a look at how Kubernetes protects its users (e.g: RBAC, Network Policies, TLS)
  • In this lesson, we’ll show you how to use Kubernetes to make your apps grow and shrink automatically.
  • Find out how Kubernetes works (e.g: Pod, Deployment, ReplicaSets)
  • How to use Kubernetes objects is what you will learn when you go to class (e.g: Imperative and Declarative)
  • Understand how Kubernetes Services and Networking work so that you can use them to do things.
  • In this class, you’ll learn how to use Kubernetes Storage.
  • With Logging and Monitoring, learn how to fix Kubernetes so it works better for you.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Linux (e.g: Shell Scripting)
Basic knowledge of networking (e.g: IP, port number)

Description

This course is for people who want to learn more about Kubernetes, which is a must-have skill in the modern IT world. It doesn’t matter if you want to learn Kubernetes for an exam or just for fun. There are a lot of interesting things for you to learn in my course.

The course is for everyone, from the most basic to the most advanced topics. Lectures and videos will be the main parts of the class. There will also be quizzes and challenges to help you practice what you’ve learned.

A lot of different things are covered in my Kubernetes class, like containers, container orchestration, Kubernetes Infrastructure, Kubernetes Cluster, Kubernetes Objects, Networking and Services. They also cover security, Auto Scaling and RBAC; Configuration; Logging; Monitoring; and Troubleshooting.

Kubernetes is as important now as virtualization was 10 years ago, so no matter what your background is, you should know about it. There are cloud-native apps that work well with Kubernetes. Once you learn how to use Kubernetes, it won’t be hard for you to move on to the cloud as well.

As time goes on, I will add or supplement the information in the sections that are relevant to help you better understand the concepts.

For one thing, because this is a new course, the relevant content is still being added and prepared. Take a look at the site or pay attention to the news about new sections.

Who this course is for:

  • Anyone who wants to run containers on Kubernetes Infrastructure can do so.
  • Anyone who wants to learn how to manage containers in Kubernetes ways.
